April saw the launch of our first-ever cooking workshop led by in-house 5-star Sous Chef Rajender Singh and hosted by Nazia Amberene, a School of Culinary And Finishing Arts (SCAFA) certified professional. It all started with our enthusiastic Sous Chef wanting to share his special recipes with guests so they could enjoy making our best sellers at home. In 6 weekly sessions spread across April and May, participants learned how to prepare a 3-course meal from a variety of cuisines from Indian to Oriental, French, Italian and Arabic. Yummy creations that got a two thumbs up rating from our guests included the Rogan Josh, Chicken Roulade, Khow Suey, Thai sticky rice with mango, Tiramisu and Iftar delicacies – Kibbeh and Kunafa.
Apart from great food, the sessions were interactive and peppered with fun facts, tips, food quizzes and exciting opportunities to win gift coupons and hampers. It was also a wonderful occasion for guests to meet, mingle and dine-in with like-minded gourmands and aspiring chefs.
See what our guests have to say:
