It’s always a delight to have internationally acclaimed danseuse and National award-winning Indian actor, Shobana, stay with us. She’s now back in the UAE in connection with the Dubai premiere of her latest thematic production ‘Trance – Dancing Drums’ and we are the honoured to be the hospitality partner of her new venture.
Trance – Dancing Drums is Shobana’s quest to present various Indian performing traditions in a collage of rhythm supported by poetry and a blend of pre-recorded and live music. The production strings together theme as varied as the mythology of Siva, the avatars of Vishnu and the Biblical episode of Mary Magdalene. Presented by Tambourine Live, the show is here in Dubai this weekend after playing to full houses in India, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and London.
